Your donation to the Florida Wildlife Hospital will help provide:
- Life-saving medical care to sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals;
- Care, feeding, and rehabilitation for wildlife patients during their recovery, and ongoing care to the 7 animals — part of the education and outreach ambassador team — that now call the Wildlife Hospital home.

Sponsor a Species
Although we are permitted through the state and federal governments, we receive no funding from those entities. We also never charge a rescuer for care of the patient they bring to FWH. All of our operations are funded by donations, memberships, grants, bequests, and fundraising events. Care comes at a cost for every patient we treat, averaging at about $75 per patient. Each patient’s stay varies on their condition, age, and species. While in rehabilitation, FWH is responsible for the cost of food, medication, caging, utilities, and care. Some patients are with the hospital for a few days, while others may be with the hospital for months. If you would like to support the cost of care for some of our current species, please visit the link below. You will have the option to cover the full cost of care for an individual or for one week of care. If those options do not work for you, please choose the “Other” option and enter the amount you wish to donate. Thank you so much for providing care for over 5,000 patients we treat annually! Check back regularly as the options will change depending on the season.
Continuing Education Sponsorships
One of FWH’s key values is to provide top quality care for our patients by allowing our staff to network, continue their education, and keep up with medical advancements. Each year, we provide our staff the opportunity to advance their knowledge in the wildlife rehabilitation field by attending conferences, symposiums, webinars, expos, etc. To provide the most up-to-date best care possible, staff also keeps our reference materials current with the latest editions. Unfortunately, these opportunities and resources do have a cost associated with them and that’s where you come in! If you would like to assist in this extremely important part of our mission, please visit the link below to donate!
